EAT 12 GRAPES AND A TOAST OF GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE!

A thousands of tourist coming to Spain to celebrate the traditional Spanish Nochevieja ( new years eve) those who have been lucky enough to celebrate new years eve in Spain will be experiencing their traditional eating 12 lucky grapes as the clock strikes midnight.

Spanish traditional beliefs is they eat one grape on every chime of the last twelve seconds of the year so that by the time it strikes midnight, you will have stuffed a total of twelve grapes in your mouth. If you manage to chew and swallow in time, its said it will bring you good luck the entire year, and a toast of glass of cava the Spanish version of champagne. Some Spaniards put gold object at the bottom of their glass, such as piece of jewellery or a coin to bring them luck and wealth for the year ahead.

New years eve party should never be miss, dance until dawn in the street party or pubs as Spaniards known as a happy people and having a good time.
