1. Palazzo Comunale - is a gothic style town hall built in late medieval period, still functions as a town hall this days.

2. Palazzo Tarugi - Tarugi Palace is a majestic renaissance palace. It is one of the most noted and studied in the area for its architectural and characteristics. The Palace is only few steps away from Palazzo Comunale.
3. Duomo of Montepulciano or Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral - is a renaissance cathedral was built 1594-1680. The interior is decorated with many interesting artworks. The Cathedral is also few steps away from Palazzo Comunale.

MONTEPULCIANO WINERIES
Montepulciano has two famous wine the Vino nobile di montepulciano and Rosso di montepulciano.
- VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO is a red wine with DOCG label. Made of primary sangiovese grape variety, blended with canaiolo nero grape variety and some amounts of local varities such as mammolo. The wine aged for two years, one year in oak barrels and the vino nobile wines labeled riserva must be age for three years. The wine was named after the ancient and scenic hill top town of montepulciano and this wine has been admired for centuries.
- ROSSO DI MONTEPULCIANO is a red wine with label DOC, a new version of Vino nobile montepulciano with identical production and similar used of variety of grapes. Yields for Rosso di montepulciano are much higher than vino nobile with 70hl/ha compared to 56hl/ha for vino nobile and the alcohol content is 11.5% along with 21 grams/litre of dry extract compared with 23 grams/litre for vino nobile.
